Brad’s Big Surprise

It wasn’t the day Brad imagined, nor the prettiest day for pictures, but the story is worth telling, and I wanted to share it with you.

Brad called me secretly and arranged for me to capture the moment he proposed to Maggie.  Although they are from Kentucky, Emerald Isle has always been special for them, so Brad wanted to propose on the beach.  The only hitch was that the day was cold and rainy.  Brad had invested too much in planning to turn back, so he followed through.  As the couple walked down the boardwalk to the beach, they passed me with my telephoto lens, just “happening” to be taking “nature” shots on a windy, drizzly afternoon.

Gotta go get ready…Stephanie and Charles are getting married today!
