A coastal girl like me sometimes dreams of castle weddings. Though the beaches are beautiful, we don’t have many castles in Emerald Isle. So, you can imagine that when Danielle asked if I would photograph her wedding at Graylyn Estate, I was over-the-moon excited to document the event in a historic stone building with turrets and winding staircases. (I was also enticed by the fact that the after party was to be at Foothill Brewery, one of my NC favs.
Not only was Danielle an exotic and beautiful bride, but amazing settings (like a stone driveway with a historic taxi) kept my head spinning with great ideas for fun pictures. Take a glimpse as I show you some of my favorite storytelling images from the wedding day.
