Allison & Chris: Cool Shoes, PreCeremony, Exchanging Letters

In choosing which images and great wedding ideas to share from Allison and Chris’s Wedding at the First Baptist Church in Morehead City, NC, I realized that there were too many for one post. So, here is the first in a series from their wedding. I will try to post part two in a day or two.

First, look at this cool idea with the bride’s wedding shoes. The bridesmaids each wrote her a message on the bottom.

Also, look at the way she had her wedding date and name stitched into her gown. Great idea.

Another beautiful detail–her grandmother’s antique broach was pinned to the ribbon on her bouquet.

Allison had her iPod ready with some mood music while the bridesmaids were getting ready.

Her bridesmaids all wore silver strappy shoes of their choice. Not to be outdone, the mother of the bride had her own silver shoes.

Allison had a custom-made silver belt buckle made for Chris as a gift on their wedding day. She had it engraved with a message on the back.Chris was kind enough to model his gift. The bride and groom wrote each other special letters to be read before the ceremony.
