Photo Story of a Marine Change-of-Command Ceremony at Camp Lejeune

A dear friend of mine was recently promoted to a new position at the US Marine Base at Camp Lejeune. I was fortunate to be invited to document this occasion with my camera. The event took place on a sunny day at the edge of the White Oak River, with a strong breeze blowing a line of colorful flags. The Marine Band played, which was a wonderful treat to all the guests. Dave’s family and close friends enjoyed the ceremony from a tent overlooking the grounds. I was so impressed by the majesty of it all.
