Photography Workshops for Beginners and Professionals

I occasionally give professional presentations for photography groups and would be happy to email you a notification of when and where I’m speaking, and the topics I will be discussing.

In addition, I host small group photography workshops at Emerald Isle on a variety of subjects.  If you are interested, please fill out this brief survey so I can notify you when a workshop is planned that suits your interests.  These workshops are offered to a variety of levels, from moms with automatic cameras who want to know how to take better pictures of their children, to professional photographers who want to learn advanced skills in photography and marketing.

If your group is interested in having us as guest speakers, please email me at Ellen@EllenLeRoyPhotography.  I also welcome private mentoring lessons for anyone who is interested, either in person on Skype or the phone, depending on your location and needs.

  • Leslie Ann Mills - This is great…I may copy and plug my name in the correct spots and post on mine in a couple of days.

  • Tracy Hope Atkinson - Please send info. My husband is a little obsessed with his camera. He would love to be in on

  • Tracy Owen - I would love more info :)

  • Diana Phillips - I have always loved taking pictures and have thought to go professional, but need some guidance. First, more learning and experience. Would you do any 1-1 classes if asked and the cost. I would also like to try to go to a few of your workshops if possible. Please let me know what you think you might be able to do.

Thank you in advance for your time.

  • admin - Hi Diana,

I love one-on-one mentoring, and have done that several times for $75 per hour. I can even to 2 or 3 people at a time for that price if you want to share the cost/experience. I find that I am able to get very specific with people in this setting so the learning is very specialized and concentrated, unlike a general workshop. I ask lots of questions to find out where you are and what your goals are, and then I can tell you what to focus on to get there…be it with your techniques or your business development.

I have even done some mentoring through Skype and phone calls with photographers who contacted me from other states.

If you think this would help, email me at Ellen@EllenLeRoyPhotography.com or call me at 252-725-3262.

    Ellen
